Starter Menu - Introduction
The Logic Pro Starter Menu has been optimised for Logic Pro 10.3.1 and upwards. Please ensure that this version is installed in order to avoid any error messages or adjust the macros accordingly.
This Starter Menu
enhances your time management, mixing and arranging in Logic Pro. The library is available to download here.
The menus hover above the Logic Pro
Interface giving easy access to stunning macros and shortcuts
The first 5 menu buttons are
targeted around the 2 faders on the left side of Logic Pro’s arrange window.
To activate this fader view click
the inspector icon in the top left hand side of the arrange window.
For full compatibility activate ‘Show
Advanced Tools’, ’Audio’ and the ‘Advanced Editing’ options by following this
file path - Logic Pro X > Preferences > Advanced Tools.
** it is a mandatory requirement that the first plugin insert position is populated with either the gain, eq, or compressor plugin. Additionally, the first bus insert position must be ‘Bus Slot 1’ further buses are invoked with ’Bus Slot 2 +’ . Buttons coloured in burgundy require third party software.
Main menu
The main menu is the holding bay
for sub menus, macros, actions and hyper key commands.
It is invoked by clicking the
Flexi-deck menu icon with the 5 horizontal lines in the bottom right of the display.

Audio channel - plugins
folders
This menu will quickly navigate the
user to channel plugin folders where individual plug in selections can be made
either by using scroll arrows or clicking.
Audio units and user defined
plugin folders are also supported.
Native Logic Pro plugins are green
and the burgundy buttons indicate shortcuts to third party audio unit plugins
folders.
This menu targets the left fader.

Audio channel - individual
plugins
A menu to directly load individual
native Logic Pro or Audio Units plug ins with a single click.
This menu targets the left fader.

Bus / Aux channel - plugins
folders
A menu to seamlessly navigate the
user to bus and aux channel plugin folders where individual plug in selections
can be made either by using scroll arrows or clicking. A
Audio units and user
defined plugin folders are also supported.
This menu targets the right fader
which can be either a bus, aux or a master.

Instruments - plugins folders
Similar to the 'audio channel
plugins' this menu navigates the user to instrument channel plugin folders
where individual plug in selections can be made by keyboard arrows or direct
clicks.
User defined and third party plugin
folders are also supported.
This menu targets the left fader.

Instrument matrix - individual
The instrument menu allows the user
to freely load software instruments while retaining all audio and midi plugins
on the selected channel.
Auditioning software instruments on
an active midi part in the Logic Pro arrange window has never been easier.
This menu targets the left fader.
